Everyone survived the first meet! Thank you to those who reached out with change of plans to not attend. That helped us get a head start on relay changes. Once we made it through the weather delay, we went headfirst into the organized chaos of the first swim meet. I promise... they run smoother as the season progresses.

We are super proud of everyone's performances! Lots of first-time swim meet families. I hope everyone had a good time and learned a lot in the process!

I have attached the results. Yes, some relay names are incorrect. We do have the list of the changes and will ensure ribbons get to the correct swimmers. Awards are given to A relays and individual places 1st - 4th. I need to check the results for 7-8 FR. You may have noticed that the heat sheet I shared did not match with what was happening in the pool. I was not informed that the home team re-seeded most of the 7/8 events the morning of. We learned this as the meet progressed. My apologies for the extra confusion.

Each facility is set up a little different. Ideally, we will have the swimmers in one space; sitting relatively by age group so it's easier to line them up for their events. Swimmers should also be following the meet, cheering on their teammates, and reporting to clerk of course a few events ahead of their scheduled swim. Our goal is for every swimmer to swim their scheduled race!
